Echocardiogram is a simple, noninvasive ultrasound modality that is used to assess the left ventricular systolic function and rule out any structural heart disease. The sound waves transmitted through the structure of the heart create ultrasonic images of the heart and valves, which are then digitalized for the cardiologists to review these images to make important determinations about how to best treat someone's heart condition. We have the ability to perform the echocardiograms at our office.
